Public service announcements, or television spots, are a powerful way to reach the general public. Shown in cinemas and on television, they normally form part of a public information campaign. Here is a unique showcase of some of the more recent spots on tobacco control shown in the European Region.

They are commissioned by governments, international bodies or other partners who are active in the fight against the tobacco epidemic, and are shown here with their kind permission.

Health ministries and other partners can submit additional videos for the showcase by writing to tobaccofree@euro.who.int.
