Public service announcements, or television spots, are a powerful way to reach the general public. Shown in cinemas and on television, they normally form part of a public information campaign. Here is a unique showcase of some of the most recent spots on tobacco control shown in the European Region.
They are commissioned by governments, international bodies or other
partners who are active in the fight against the tobacco epidemic,
and are shown here with their kind permission.
The PSAs can be viewed in two ways:
1 To view quickly as the PSA downloads select "Streaming and Information", a new window will open and the PSA will automatically play in flash video.
2 To view with Windows Media Player and have the option to save, select "view/download".
